Freecity Celebrates Completion of Hillview at West Pennant Hills

26 March 2026

Freecity is pleased to announce the practical completion of Hillview: the first over-55s community in West Pennant Hills. Hillview reflects the group’s broader mission to create high-quality homes in locations where demand for well-designed housing continues to outpace supply.
The development offers 36 architecturally designed freestanding homes within a secure setting , centred around landscaped gardens and a shared green space. Residents will enjoy proximity to scenic parks, full sized sports field and the shopping village with eateries and supermarkets, supporting community connection and convenience.
Lawrence Zheng, Co-Founder and Joint CEO of Freecity Group, said: “We are thrilled to celebrate the practical completion of Hillview as there is clear and growing need for thoughtfully designed homes that support over 55s looking to remain in established communities.
“Hillview demonstrates Freecity’s ability to respond to different segments of the housing market while maintaining the same focus on design quality, community creation and long term value.”

The milestone was celebrated on Tuesday with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by The Hills Shire Mayor Dr Michelle Burns and Councillor Sam Uno East Ward, project partners, stakeholders and invited guests, formally opening the estate with speeches, guided tours of the four display homes, and celebrations in the central garden.

Liam Worthington, Managing Director at Worthington Homes said: “Worthington Homes is proud to have partnered with Freecity Group to deliver a project that sets a new benchmark for over-55s living in Sydney’s north-west.
“From the outset, this was about creating a secure, high-quality community that residents can truly be proud to call home, and we’re delighted to see that vision brought to life through a strong and collaborative partnership.”
Hillview forms part of Freecity’s broader six-billion-dollar development portfolio, spanning projects that seek to address housing supply across a range of living sectors including Build-to-Rent, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation, Co-Living and Build-to-Sell.
